Chief Financial Officer

Are you a professional and dynamic finance professional in search of a new challenging opportunity? You are in the right place! We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer for our client, a start-up i-gaming company that will form part of a group of companies, investing in multiple subsidiaries which focus on technology, operations, and marketing companies within the sector. The Company is analyzing the possibility to become publicly listed on an international basis when the business grows in the future. The CFO is expected to build a Finance team able to support all group companies. 

What is expected of you?

• Report financial performance of the entities on a monthly basis to the group’s shareholders.
• Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insight.
• Involved in determining the Group’s strategic objectives and policies together with the CEO
• Attend and minute board meetings in the capacity of director and responsible to report to the Group’s shareholders;
• Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the company as the Company Secretary and the administration of the finance team
• Set standards and goals for the team and ensure consistent execution, processing, and accountability
• Set up the accounting policies and processes and reporting tools
• Responsible to implement internal accounting systems and introducing new systems and controls
• Lead and manage the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, implementation, and business strategic analysis of the financial team
• Create timely financial and management reporting which also includes the preparation of the monthly management accounts of the entities within the Group;
• Responsible for handling tax affairs, legal aspects, and HR duties of the group and speaking with external consultants when necessary
• Liaise with external parties to ensure all bank requirements and auditing matters are in line with statutory requirements
• Oversee business controller functions, and coordinate monthly cost control and variance analysis with regular follow-up with the group’s stakeholders.
• Prepare reporting and handle presentations to the Board and to the Shareholders were needed.
