What is expected of you?

Oversee cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, either directly or through delegation
Manage the development and reporting of annual operating, capital, and program budgets
Ensure operational cash flow aligns with business needs by supervising accounting, recording, reporting, and internal controls
Implement best practices and tools for effective financial management, project coordination, cross-team communication, and workflow efficiency
Ensure compliance with national financial regulations by staying updated on legislation and taking necessary actions
Oversee short-, medium-, and long-term financial planning, maintaining continuous communication with banks and financial institutions
Participate in tax planning and address tax-related matters as needed
Develop financial and business plans for new projects undertaken by the group
Work with senior managers to prepare budget proposals, provide financial insights, and ensure contract compliance and reporting
Provide projections, accounting services, and growth strategies while managing finance staff
Identify revenue opportunities, analyze internal operations, and implement cost reduction and process improvement strategies
Conduct risk management by assessing liabilities, investments, and capital structure.
Track business performance, implement corrective actions as needed, and prepare detailed reports
Lead financial strategy and planning to align with the company’s growth and expansion objectives
Drive strategic initiatives and provide financial advice to the CEO and Board of Directors

What are you expected to bring?

ACCA-certified Public Accountant
At least 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management, with extensive previous experience as a CFO in a similar or larger organization
Expertise in mergers, acquisitions, and investor relations
Strong leadership abilities coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills
In-depth knowledge of advanced accounting, regulatory compliance, and tax planning
Experience in securing capital beyond traditional credit channels
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans in a fast-growing environment
Track record of driving innovation in financial processes and tools for improved efficiency
Highly analytical, with the ability to anticipate trends, identify risks and opportunities, and take proactive action
