What’s expected of you?

• Define requirements, scope and objectives, and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies
• Offer second level support for both internal and external applications
• Manage the applications department
• Review, analyse and evaluate business systems and user needs
• Plan and implement business and operational projects
• Manage the technical delivery of projects, from the business analysis phase to refining the project plan as it moves along
• Liaise with other managers to allocate and schedule project resources
• Provide regular status updates to management and assist in KPI measurement and reporting.
• Liaise and act as a reference point between software companies, management, and IT
• Maintain existing applications and APIs
• Ad hoc duties as required

What are you expected to bring?

• Qualification in IT, ideally also in a business-related topic
• Experience leading projects in an Agile environment
• Sound knowledge of database technologies, SQL reporting, Scripting and/or programming languages
• Previous experience using web client technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Ideally have knowledge of JIRA and Therefore
• Strong interpersonal and customer facing skills.
• Excellent organisational and analytical skills with the ability to work under deadline pressure
