Auditor (Gozo based)

What is expected of you?

• Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audits
• Conduct statutory audits of financial statements in line with International Standards on Auditing and Accounting
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS, GAPSE, or GAPSME
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication
• Demonstrate strong management skills and efficient time management
• Perform any other duties within the candidate's professional competency as assigned

What are you expected to bring?

• Proven experience in external audit planning, including risk and control identification
• Fully qualified Accountant
• Ability to perform and review external audit testing effectively
• Strong knowledge of GAPSME, IFRS, and International Auditing Standards
• Skilled in identifying and reporting issues with actionable recommendations for client improvement
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in English
• Focused on meeting deadlines and thriving under work pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Smart, highly motivated, and well-presented, with a keen eye for detail
• Demonstrates good teamwork and collaboration skills
