What is expected of you?

  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure the smooth functioning of the hotel's maintenance activities
  • Prioritize and adjust tasks based on urgency and schedules, providing clear instructions for efficient work execution
  • Plan and coordinate in-house and outsourced maintenance projects, ensuring timelines are met and tasks are executed effectively
  • Regularly report the progress of ongoing works to the Maintenance Manager and collaborate with other department heads on cross-departmental projects that may impact operations
  • Review and sign purchase orders and invoices for materials required for maintenance tasks
  • Evaluate material and outsourced work quotes to obtain the best prices and ensure cost-effective solutions


What are you expected to bring?

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position
  • Technical education at an HTD level or equivalent
  • Local Electrical License A is required
  • Familiarity with the latest HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) systems
  • Knowledge of Hotel related Systems such as BMS (Building Management System) and RMS (Room Management System)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in English
  • Ability to effectively communicate system problems to both co-workers and management for clear understanding
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills related to work issues
