What's expected of you?

  • Assist the HR Manager in daily department operations
  • Maintain and update employee records, HR databases and training records  in compliance with company policy and law
  • Foster positive relationships with managers and staff
  • Identify training needs, develop training programs, and coordinate suitable training solutions
  • Conduct annual training needs assessments and evaluate training outcomes
  • Manage departmental budget for training and development
  • Provide training and coaching to managers and supervisors participating in employee development programs
  • Manage internal communications, including intranet bulletins and newsletters, to keep employees updated on training opportunities
  • Uphold the organisation’s culture and values
  • Collaborate effectively with other management and HR team members

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Certification in Learning and Performance (CPLP) is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a dynamic and organised professional 
  • Exceptional customer service abilities and a commitment to delivering excellence
  • A positive approach, with the ability to nurture a positive work environment
  • Proficiency with payroll systems and financial reporting is a plus
