Accounts Payable & Administration Clerk

What’s expected of you?

  • Accurately record financial transactions using accounting software or spreadsheets
  • Update and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable records
  • Validate and assign codes to invoices for accuracy
  • Follow up on outstanding payments, purchase orders, and resolve discrepancies
  • Conduct timely supplier reconciliations
  • Review and validate expense reports, income reports, and other financial submissions
  • Ensure compliance of expenses with company policies and guidelines
  • Compile data and provide information for audits or financial reviews
  • Manage phone calls and emails professionally and efficiently
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, documents, and office supplies
  • Regularly audit financial data for accuracy and integrity through reconciliations and other methods
  • Identify and promptly correct errors
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders for necessary information
  • Maintain professional communication with vendors and internal/external stakeholders
  • Perform additional job-related duties as needed

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • A Diploma-level or higher Certification in Accounting
  • Previous experience in both accounting and administrative positions in Malta
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with accounting software is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English
  • Exceptional time management and prioritizing skills coupled with the ability to meet strict deadlines
  • A team player mindset and great interpersonal skills
