Accounting Senior

Are you a fully qualified ACCA Accountant or in the final stages of your exam? We are seeking an Accounting Senior to join the accounting advisory division of a leading finance company here in Malta. If you have the right expertise, Ceek would love to hear from you!

What’s expected of you?

• Perform client bookkeeping and accounting services
• Liaise with clients, responding to requests in a timely manner
• Take on a portfolio of local and international accounting clients
• Supervise junior accountants
• Collaborate with client auditors
• Prepare management accounts in accordance with IFRS and GAPSME
• Analyse and interpret management accounts
• Prepare and submit clients’ VAT Returns and Recap Declarations
• Prepare accountancy files for audit
• Ad hoc tasks as needed

What are you expected to bring?

• Ideally in the final stages of ACCA or fully qualified
• Two years’ plus experience in preparing management accounts
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and XERO, Sage Line 50
• Able to work independently, prioritise, and meet deadlines
• Highly-motivated
