Accountant

What is expected of you?

• Daily expense/supplier posting
• Maintenance of general ledger
• Monthly management reporting of financial data and donation analysis
• Work closely with the fundraising team
• Perform month-end procedures and reconciliations
• Issue payments such as payroll and vendor invoices
• Manage the Foundation’s donations and report on funds when needed
• Carry out end-of-year reporting for the organization
• Prepare the annual projects or budgets and assist with long-term forecasts while collaborating with the management team
• Be the point of contact for employment contracts, local authorities, audit firms, international expansion projects, etc…
• Carry out any other ad-hoc duty that may be assigned by senior management

What are you expected to bring?

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience in an NGO environment is considered an asset
• Ability to work in a team and individually with minimum supervision
• Great analytical and organizational skills
• Possess high-level work ethics and professional integrity
