Accountant

What is expected of you?

• Maintain fixed asset registers
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and monthly payroll process
• Assist with the preparation, review, and reconciliation of monthly accruals and prepayments
• Issue client invoices and maintain aged receivables and related matters
• Assist in the month-end process, capital adequacy requirements, preparation of financial statements, and annual audits
• Cooperate with the Finance Manager for the monthly analysis of variances and other ad-hoc requests
• Liaise with auditors
• Prepare cash flows and related analysis, VAT returns and reconciliation of all revenue

What are you expected to bring?

• A minimum of 3 years’ previous experience in a similar role
• Relevant accounting qualification (University Degree, ACCA/or in progress)
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
• Experience in auditing would be considered an asset
• Good problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of MS applications, especially Excel
• The ability to work efficiently under minimum supervision and meet challenging deadlines
