Accountant

What is expected of you?

• Prepare monthly management accounts and reports
• Liaise with banks, auditors, other service providers, and the Department Head when necessary
• Manage income tax and VAT submissions
• Participate in internal projects assigned by senior management while also ensuring that the day-to-day activities of the Finance Department are running as planned
• Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts
• Review bank reconciliation and unpresented cheques
• Maintain a professional approach when representing the company with creditors, debtors, financial and legal institutions
• Perform any other duty that might be assigned from senior management from time to time

What are you expected to bring?

• Diploma/Degree in accounting
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate efficiently
• Proficiency in Excel and Accounting software
• Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to make decisions based on accurate analysis
• Team player with a sharp eye for detail
