Accountant

A growing and dynamic company forming part of a group investing in gaming affiliate businesses, is looking for an Accountant, to strengthen their organization.  If you like working with Entrepreneurs and are interested in figures and company administrative tasks, then this is the job for you!


What is expected of you?

• Perform general accounting functions and activities including but not limited to the preparation of monthly management accounts;
• Supervise the payroll function;
• Handle KYC duties and perform due diligence reporting;
• Establish and maintain customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments;
• Responsible for month-end accounting procedures and reconciliations;
• Assist in the annual statutory audit process and liaising with external auditors;
• Prepare and submit the quarterly VAT returns;
• Liaise with banks where necessary;
• Assist the group financial controller with ad hoc tasks.

What are you expected to bring?

• Be a fully qualified Accountant
• Proficient user in Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Experience in the use of Microsoft Dynamics (NAV) will be considered an asset
• Have a minimum of 2 years' relevant working experience in a similar position in Malta
• Fluent in English
• Good organisational skills and a great multi-tasker
• Self-motivated, passionate, reliable, flexible, resilient and takes initiative
• Able to work in a dynamic environment and under pressure
• Diligent and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision;
• Able to prioritise and manage work without losing attention to detail;
• Eager to learn and to deliver on expectations.
