What is expected of you?

  • General duties such as bank reconciliations, payroll, accounts management, balance sheets, financial statements and tax returns
  • Lead and guide junior members of the team
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and carry out bookkeeping for them
  • Bookkeeping for all group entities such as fixed assets, prepayments, and accruals
  • Liaise with auditors in respect of year-end accounts
  • Ensure that timely reporting of accounting is accurately done monthly, quarterly and yearly
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulations
  • Other duties that may be required by the senior management



What are you expected to bring?

  • Be a qualified Accountant who is in possession of a university degree or ACCA/ACA
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Sage and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work under pressure and on tight deadlines
  • The capability to define, structure and prioritise workload for themselves and others, with the flexibility and capability to change when required
  • Good attention to detail and well-organised
