What’s expected of you?

• Serve as a key contact for month-end reporting, budget preparation, ad hoc reports, and providing essential information for the respective Business Unit
• Take ownership of and support the standard costing model and processes, ensuring accurate data for costing, sales, cost of sales, and other reporting purposes
• Ensure compliance with Finance guidelines and maintain adherence to internal controls
• Assist with the preparation of the profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
• Maintain the accuracy of the Nominal Ledger through balance sheet reconciliations and other financial controls
• Participate in the preparation and submission of direct and indirect tax returns
• Act as a co-pilot for operational managers by preparing KPI dashboards and conducting performance analyses for review
• Analyze labor and material variances against standard costs, identify key drivers, and collaborate with Departmental Managers to implement improvements
• Prepare cost estimates for new jobs, ensuring alignment with the site’s governance process before approval

What are you expected to bring?

• Full qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Previous experience in accounting is a must. Experience in a manufacturing environment will be considered an asset
• Cost accounting knowledge and experience are needed
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Proficient in MS Office applications and backend setup of financial software
• Strong analytical abilities and financial modeling skills
• Strong team-playing and leadership skills
