What’s expected of you?

Contribute to month-end reporting, budget planning, and provide essential information and ad hoc reports for the Business Unit
Manage and support costing models, ensuring accurate data for cost analysis, sales, and reporting
Ensure compliance with financial guidelines and internal controls
Assist in preparing financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flows
Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure ledger accuracy
Support tax submissions
Collaborate with managers to prepare KPI dashboards and performance analysis
Analyze labor and material variances, identifying key drivers and improvement opportunities
Prepare and review new job cost estimates for approval according to governance processes

What are you expected to bring?

Full qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CIMA or equivalent)
Previous experience in accounting is a must. Experience in a manufacturing environment will be considered an asset
Cost accounting knowledge and experience are needed
Able to work efficiently in stressful situations and meet demanding deadlines
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Proficient in MS Office applications and backend setup of financial software.
Strong analytical abilities and financial modeling skills.
Strong team-playing and leadership skills
